Rico is assigned to be Mark Lilly's partner by Francis Grimes when Mark joins the goon squad of the Department of Integration. Rico is only two days away from retirement. He ends up getting shot in the head by Mark when Mark drops and tries to catch a cup of hot chocolate.
Mark takes his place as the middle linebacker on the goon squad football team. He gets a moment of silence at the football game between the social workers and the goon squad.
