Buddha is a walking, talking buddha in Mark Lilly's class. He has golden skin, wears a prayer bead necklace and usually bares his large belly. He often wears an orange jacket and red pants with flower pattern. He regularly attends the class and its outings, but only speaks occasionally.

He is seen floating in mid-air in a chili cook-off in the episode "Callie and Her Sister".
