David M. Stern is an American screenwriter that started his work in the late 1980's writting episodes for "The Wonder Years." After his work there, he continued his work in the 1990's writting several episodes for "The Simpsons." In 2002 he became the co-executive producer of the drama "Monk" and for the sitcom "Oliver Beene" in 2004. It wasn't until 2010 that he began his work developing the animated television series Ugly Americans for Comedy Central.
